
We continue to be a bastion of fundamental civic development and community building as the MJB Cares Foundation recently mobilized to conduct Healthcare Mission 2023 in Santa Cruz, Zambales last February 25-26, 2023.
The Healthcare Mission 2023 successfully rendered medical and other essential services to the people of Santa Cruz, Zambales.
- Cataract Surgery: 35 patients
- Dental Services: 393 patients
- Adult Consultation: 279 patients
- Pedia Consultation: 89 patients
- Eye Check-up: 298 patients
- Prescription glasses: 214 patients
- Laboratory: 580 patients
- Circumcision: 82 patients
- Minor surgery: 16 patients
- Haircut: 53 individuals
We were able to serve a staggering number of 5,919 beneficiaries. All these services were handed out free of charge.
This blockbuster mission would not have transpired if it wasn’t because of a coherent collaboration and uncompromising delivery of the following organizations: Santa Cruz Academy Inc., 3rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Local Government Unit of Santa Cruz, Zambales, Budjong Integrated Humanitarian Missions, Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, University of Perpetual Help – Dental Health Team, Eye Hear Foundation, Brady Pharma, Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrist – Zambales, Latter Day Saint Charities, Santa Cruz Police Station, The Grey House, DDCPH Corp and enter-Neat. One thing is certain. If have the same heart with people, you will truly connect. We are eternally grateful that we all share a common advocacy and your unfaltering commitment to the cause.

More than an ordinary medical mission, this is an activity is close to the heart of our Founder, Mrs Mary Joy Bustamate. She was a local resident of Santa Cruz for her entire life and would want nothing more but to give back to her community that honed and nurtured her. Santa Cruz is her forever home.
