On August 18, 2023, the MJB Cares Foundation showed their support by partnering with the Rural Health Unit of Santa Cruz, Zambales, who conducted a Buntis Congress in celebration of the National Breastfeeding Awareness Month held in Poblacion South, Santa Cruz, Zambales.
The Buntis Congress 2023, which celebrated the beauty, health, and vitality of pregnant women in the community, included a search for Ms. Healthy Pretty Buntis. This unique pageant went beyond traditional beauty pageants by focusing on the well-being of expectant mothers and promoting a positive approach to pregnancy.
The Buntis Congress 2023 not only provided valuable information and resources to pregnant women, but it also served as a reminder to the community about the importance of supporting and uplifting expectant mothers. The event also included a seminar on safe motherhood and child care, games, and kit-giving.
