To serve those in need, it’s our main objective!
It was indeed a successful two-day Medical Mission and Community Engagement in Brgy. Jakarta, Languyan, Tawi-Tawi, and Brgy. Sipangkot, Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi. The team was able to serve 1,600 patients last June 29-30, 2021.
MJB Cares & DDCPH Corp, led by CEO Mary Joy Bustamante (MJB), is grateful to have been a part of this “All-in-One Mission” organized by Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace, Inc. (MHVP) in collaboration with Naval Forces Western Mindanao.
These people live in marginalized communities, where the population is concentrated in impoverished locations where disease and sickness spread quickly. In these areas, there is a great need for medical care.
To our Doctors, thank you for stepping outside of your comfort zones, leaving your air-conditioned clinics, visiting unfamiliar and risky places, and utilizing your expertise to help the sick without expecting anything in return. Your generosity and sacrifices will be rewarded.
