San Luis, Batangas with the total population of 696.

Barangay San Antonio, located in the Municipality of San Luis in the province of Batangas, has a demographic with 10% of its population consisting of senior citizens in need of help and medical support; it’s essential to address their specific needs. Since the nearest hospital is located in the city of Lemery, it may pose a challenge for senior citizens to access medical care easily. Furthermore, Barangay San Antonio is primarily characterized by its vast sugarcane farms, which cover a significant portion of the land. This suggests that the community heavily relies on sugarcane farming as its main livelihood. It is not uncommon for some residents to temporarily live on the farms during the sugarcane season, where they work and reside.

This mission, “Hilom 2023” offered a medical consultation for adults and children, dental services, and COVID vaccination. The people who came were very grateful for this kind of program since most of them are having a hard time going to the city for a medical and dental consultation.

We, the MJB Cares Foundation, were very grateful to be part of this, and we will always continue to leave a legacy by touching the lives of people.
