To serve communities is our sole intrinsic motivation to mobilize as a progressive and compassionate organization. We tapped into our deep, true core as the MJB Cares Foundation once again successfully conducted Health Care Mission 2023 in Mabini, Batangas, on April 29–30, 2023.
The said activity had served 3,315 beneficiaries who were entitled to free medical services, including but not limited to:
- Adult Consultation – 203 patients
- Pedia Consultation – 107 patients
- Eye check up – 80 patients
- Cataract screening – 71 patients
- Minor surgery – 26 patients
- Circumcision – 191 patients
- Dental – 260 patients
- Laboratory tests – 123 patients
- Cervical cancer screening – 12 patients
- Diabetes and Nutrition Counseling – 30 patients
All patients were also given free medications to aid their overall health.
This triumphant medical mission would not have transpired if it weren’t for the unwavering commitment and collaborative efforts made by the following partners: the Local Government Unit of Mabini, Batangas, the Municipal Health Office, the VRP Medical Center Post Graduate Intern (2022-2023), the University of Perpetual Help Dental Team, the Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists – Batangas Chapter.
