MHVP “30th All-In-One Mission” in Mabini, Davao de Oro

On July 29–30, 2023, Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace conducted their 30th All-In-One Mission in Mabini, Davao de Oro, in collaboration with the 25th Infantry Battalion, Local Government Unit of Mabini, MJB Cares Foundation, 1001st Infantry Battalion, Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, Eye Hear Foundation, SEE International, and Budjong Integrated Humanitarian Missions. This two-day event was a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to serving the community.

The mission kicked off with a sense of purpose and camaraderie as volunteers across the regions gathered to make a positive impact. MHVP’s dedicated volunteers gave free services to the residents of Mabini, Davao de Oro, like cataract surgery, minor surgery, medical consultation, laboratory services, dental services, eye check-ups, circumcisions, arts for peace for the kids, and haircut services. 4,203 beneficiaries availed of medical and non-medical services for free.

This event wasn’t just about services; it was about building connections and fostering unity. This kind of activity brought people together, strengthening the bonds that make Mabini a resilient and close-knit place to call home.

Salamat jud sa mga military. Sila nag initiate at nag coordinate sa tanan. The event left a lasting impression, inspiring hope and optimism for a brighter future in Mabini, Davao de Oro. MHVP’s journey continues as the organization looks forward to more opportunities to serve, uplift, and make a difference in the lives of the people they touch.

With each mission, MHVP reinforces the belief that collective effort and compassion can transform lives and communities. The medical mission is to build bridges of hope for communities, regardless of their affiliation. We shall continue to be committed to the cause and remain steadfast in attaining peace.
