In remote corners of the world, access to healthcare remains a luxury for many. In these underprivileged communities, basic medical care can be scarce, leaving individuals vulnerable to preventable illnesses and health complications. However, amidst these challenges, the spirit of compassion and service shines bright.
On March 16-17, 2024, the MHVP (Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace) conducted their 36th Medical Humanitarian Mission in Barangay Trinidad, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental. This barangay is included in NTF-ELCAC, a government campaign aimed at addressing the persistent communist insurgency in the Philippines.
This event gave the MJB Cares Foundation another opportunity to once again demonstrate their long term commitment in serving people in underserved communities.
Throughout the two day mission, a whopping total of 1,910 patients benefited from the services provided by the MHVP. MJB cares Foundation contributed through providing the necessary medical supplies and medications prescribed by the doctors on-site.
