In the midst of the mountains in Pangasinan, an event inspired by generosity, empathy and comradery unfolded.
The 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, 1st CMO Company, 7CMO Battalion, 702nd Infantry (Defender) Brigade, 104th Community Defense Center, 1RCDG, and CMO School, CMOR Civil Affairs Students together with Pangasinan State University (PSU), MJB Cares Foundation, UST and UP Diliman ROTC, Eagles Club, Medical City of Dagupan, and Gardenia Philippines conducted an Outreach and Gift-giving Activity to the members of the Kankanaey Tribe in Sitio Mapita, Brgy. Laoag, Aguilar, Pangasinan on December 7, 2023.
This mission fulfilled free medical and dental consultations as well as the distribution of medicines provided by the MJB Cares Foundation. Other partners expressed their contributions through distribution of school supplies, food packs, loaves of bread, and toys to the pupils of Mapita Integrated School and to those Differently-Abled residents of Sitio Mapita.
MJB Cares Foundation along with partners will continue to make a difference in people’s lives no matter how far or remote they are.
