Rizal Tribal Summit and All-in-One Bayanihan

The living conditions in the mountainous regions of Palawan have proven to be challenging, given the inaccessibility of basic necessities such as food, healthcare, and primary education.

Last October 13 to 15, 2023, in Brgy. Ransang, Rizal, Palawan, the Rizal Tribal Summit and All-in-One Bayanihan project symbolize the collaborative efforts of volunteers, local organizations, and government agencies working together for the greater good.

During this event, medical services, food, and other essential supplies were distributed to the local population. By pooling resources and expertise, this approach ensures a comprehensive and sustainable impact on the indigenous tribe of Palawan, known as the “Tau’t Bato.”

In conjunction with the Local Government Unit and the 18th Special Forces Company, the MJB Cares Foundation generously donated 350 food packages and 60 school bags, complete with school supplies, to support the academic pursuits of tau’t bato children.

This event celebrates the rich tapestry of the tau’t bato culture, showcasing their physical prowess in games and cultural dance performances.

The Rizal Tribal Summit and All-in-One Bayanihan event exemplify the true essence of Bayanihan, which is the unity of communities, cultures, and individuals working together to create a brighter and more inclusive future. Through empowerment and collaborative action, this event leaves a lasting legacy of progress in the hearts of all participants, fostering a stronger and more resilient society for future generations.
