Healing Smiles, Changing Lives: A Beacon of Hope in Palawan!

The MJB Cares Foundation did it again! From April 13-16, 2024, Camp General Artemio Ricarte Station Hospital in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, transformed from a simple medical facility into a hub of hope and rejuvenation.

Over these four remarkable days, the power of compassion and skilled medical care came together through free cleft lip and palate surgeries.

The four day mission benefited thirty-four (34) Cleft lip and Palate patients operated by the skillful hands of Rico Nebres (surgeon), Wilson Dale Salamanca, Cathleen Potente (Anesthesiologists), Francis (OR Nurse) from ACPPI – team of volunteers who dedicated their time and effort making this mission a victorious one – opened doors to new smiles, enhanced speech, and fundamentally boosting their overall quality of life.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who joined hands in turning this vision into a reality. Your support propels our mission forward, inspiring and enabling us to reach out to more communities. Together, we are not just healing smiles; we are transforming lives and nurturing a world where every individual gets a chance to smile brightly and live fully.

Thank you for standing with us as we continue to spread hope and make meaningful changes, one smile at a time. Together, we look forward to many more projects like this, where compassion and care pave the way for a brighter tomorrow. Join us in celebrating this victory and in forging ahead with renewed determination to touch more lives in profound ways. Together, let’s continue to be the change that we wish.
