Cataract Surgery in Aborlan, Palawan

In collaboration with the Budjong Integrated Humanitarian Missions, Municipality of Aborlan Palawan, and League of Municipalities of the Philippines, Palawan Chapter. MJB Cares Foundation conducted a series of successful Cataract Surgeries at Aborlan, Palawan. This initiative aimed to provide free surgical treatment to individuals suffering from cataracts, a leading cause of blindness in the country; mostly affecting the elderly.

On April 13-16, 2024, we witnessed twenty (20) patients who benefited from the free Cataract Surgery. This journey was made possible by the precise execution of DR. Maria Theresa Heyrosa, and her team of healthcare volunteers that made this mission a success.

This mission not only provided relief from cataracts but also brought back earthly pleasures such as; watching TV and reading to the operated patients.

MJB Cares Foundation together with trusted partners in its mission to improve the quality of life for individuals in need through healthcare initiatives. We hope our work continues to make a profound impact on communities across the Philippines, restoring vision and hope to those who need it most.
