On August 3, 2024, JCI Jolo and JCI Zamboanguena partnered with MJB Cares Foundation, Inc. conducted a combined medical mission and a school supply gift-giving event at the Jolo Municipal Government Building in Jolo, Sulu.
As a new school year awakes, there is no doubt that students from underprivileged communities lack the necessary tools to fulfill their educational and medical needs. To address this, humanitarian organizations like MJB Cares Foundation and JCI Jolo are dedicated to helping these students achieve their dreams.
MJB Cares Foundation provided school bags for students at Bus Bus Elementary School and essential medicines to support the medical mission. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they received their new school bags was incredibly rewarding, as it symbolizes the excitement and empowerment that comes with having the necessary tools for their education.
This initiative aimed to support the educational needs and health of students and the local population; ensuring they have the necessary tools for learning and overall well-being.
We are deeply grateful to JCI Jolo and JCI Zamboanguena for enabling us to extend our services to those in need. We look forward to future collaborations that will allow us to continue making a positive impact.
