Another significant achievement for MJB Cares was its partnership for a three-day medical mission and community engagement in Panamao, Sulu, on November 27-29, 2021. Mary Joy Bustamante and Lourde Bustamante, would like to thank Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteer for Peace (MHVP), in collaboration with MBLT 7 Striking Battalion of the Philippine Marines, for providing us with another opportunity to participate in the most recent “All-in-one Mission” of this year, 2021.
We are pleased to report that we were able to serve thousands of patients in Panamao, Sulu; despite the pandemic and the obstacles we faced, the volunteers were able to extend their assistance and make a difference in people’s lives. Furthermore, the team would like to thank our volunteers for devoting their time and energy to organizing medical check-ups, community engagement, Art for Peace, and the distribution of medicine and food packs.
