The MJB Cares Foundation is holding a fund-raising event in collaboration with the 62nd Infantry (UNIFIER) Battalion to raise money for solar lights that will be distributed to 400 families at Barangay Tabon in the Municipality of Vallehermosa, Negros Oriental.
This solar power electrification project aims to help government to put an end to local armed conflict not only in this mountainous area in the said province, but also in many underserved communities across the country in order to foster peace and development and improve the quality of life of the local populace. It also aims to improve the delivery of social services such as education, night learning, and communication in these communities.
